Hello All,

So I have decided to really get serious about selling my creations. So serious that my sister and I have started an Etsy shop on Etsy.com . Our story is called "Creations from the He{art}". We have lots of cute goodies on there from cards, to scrapbook pages and even bags/purses. So if you are curious or have a desire to buy something cute come check us out.

I'll also try to post items on here as well. If anyone would ever like something custom made, whether it be a card or cards, scrapbook or scrapbook pages or anything paper related please contact me. I use primarily close to my heart products and am a consultant of CTMH. So if you ever need anything or are interested in hosting a party please leave a comment and I'll get back to you. March 28 Workshop goodies!

Here is what you will get ladies when you come to my March 28th 2 12x12 page workshop! I'm looking forward to putting my pages together for you all to see the finished product.

Products included:

- 1 sheet cocoa cardstock

- 2 sheets desert sand cardstock

- 4 sheets paterned paper (unforgettable B&T Duos)

- 1 Oxford Color Ready Alphabet

- 1 12x12 page protector

- 1 12x12 6 pocket page protector

- 2 yards sorbet dash ribbon

- 1 yard natural hemp

- 15 pewter brads

- 2 pocket page protector sleeves

- 1 blending pen (surprise tool)

Plus you will get to use my stamping supplies (inks and stamp sets), learn a few new techniques and ideas; and the best part, you will walk away with 2 beautiful scrapbook pages! Also, you will get 10% off any one paper packet of your choice (must be ordered at workshop).

Remember: you will need to bring a paper trimmer, scissors, 1 5x7 photo and 6-8 4x6 photos (if possible please make sure all photo's are horizontal). The theme of these pages is "unforgettable memories" (i.e. pregnancy, childhood memories, wedding or engagement, a special romantic or family vacation etc). Kwerner Challenge #31

I'm new to this challenge, my sister introduced me to this site and I love it! Just what I need to give me a kick in the butt to keep up with my scrapbooking/card making.

Since I'm into CTMH products I found it a bit challenging to find colors that matched those choosen for this challenge. But this is what I came up with (using chocolate, pansy purple, sunflower, buttercup and white daisy CTMH colors):

This was a lot of fun and I look forward to the next challenge! :)

Christmas Card Workshop

I will be hosting a Christmas Card Workshop on November 15 from 2pm-5pm. You will walk away with 4 of each of the above 4 cards (16 total) plus there will be no shipping/handling on any purchases made that day, there will be LOTS of free product giveaways and dinner will be provided. Crop retreat Fun!

The door hanger I made for Aidan and Xander's room. Looks way cuter in person.
The message pad and dishwasher (clean/dirty) magnet Dallas and I decided to create.

So my sister Dallas and I were fortunate enough to attend a weekend crop at Pigeon lake, Rundles mission, end of February. It was a great weekend, the first time I've ever been away from my kids over night...let alone 2 nights! We cropped, scrapbooked and were creative to our little hearts content. The above pics are the creations that Dallas and I came up with to do in between doing a scrapbook page...just to mix things up a bit and get our creative juices flowing. It was a super fun weekend and i was able to finish 6 other pages on top of these fun little creations. We have already put our names on the list for next year, and I'm already looking forward to it! Thanks for a great weekend Dash .... and if I remember I'll take some pics of the pages I got done during the weekend too to post on here...we'll see how good my prego brain does to remind me. :)

I've been tagged by sister to do this questionaire, and who am I to turn down a challenge! So here it goes:

1. Name your two favorite scrapbooking topics: my kids and my kids
2. Where are the two best places you've been to? The ocean and the mountains
3. Name two things you do every day: Change dirty diapers and play with my kids
4. Tell us two things that pretty much everyone knows about you: I love to scrap and I love my family
5. Tell us two things that everyone DOESN'T know about you: hmmm I've killed a bear and I've lived in 7 different cities/towns

First of all let me say...YEAH for the extension. Thanks Tiff! I really wanted to do this one but ran of time and totally forgot till it was to late! So I'm happy that I can still participate and will hopefully be able to do a page this weekend with David home!

Onto my list of favorite sounds....I've been thinking about this a lot the last week. Honestly the first thing that comes to my mind is my children's laughter. I LOVE that sound, or those sounds. Each one of my beautiful kids are different and each come with their own unique laugh and I love that! When I heard each of their hearts beat for the first time....another fav that I will never forget. Xanders was slow and laid back and Aidan and Hailee's were fast and excited! And that's exactly how they acted in the womb too.

I love music!!! Lately one of my fav's is a song called "apologize" by OneRepublic featuring timbaland! LOVE LOVE LOVE that song! I could listen to it repeatedly and never get sick of it! There is just something about his voice that just gets to me! That's one CD I'll be buying!

My husbands voice....I just melt everytime he talks. I don't think he knows this but he does! He "had me at hello". (had to throw that bit of 'cheese' in there for y'all! :D )

The sound of a motorcycle reving it's engine!! And I don't mean one of the "croch rockets"...I mean a REAL motorbike with the deep loud VRRRMMM! Most of you are probably thinking "WHAT??". I guess I just have a lot of great memories of motorbike trips with my dad, we'd just throw our stuff on the back and take off. It was great!! You can count on David and I each getting our own and traveling North America for our retirement.

And my last one that I will mention is Thunder! I LOVE thunder storms. Everything about it. The rain, the flash of the lightening and the loud deep boom of the thunder! Definately one of my favs!

I could go one forever. We are all blessed to live in a wonderful world full of beautiful sights and sounds.

What a fun one this is! What is your nickname? That one is easy. Everyone in our family was given a nickname from an early age. My mom gave me the nickname Ditto....because I use to copy everything she said. Hmmmm, that's starting to sound familiar because that's all Aidan (my eldest son) does. I ask him a question and he responds by just copying exactly what I just asked him. Maybe he should be Ditto the second! I was both Chrystal and Ditto growing up. Most of my friends called me Ditto growing up and my sister still does....and I still call her by her nickname....Dash! hee hee, I love it! I've had a few other nicknames growing up like cropystopal, tee-tee or ti-toll (that's what kids call me because they can't pronounce Chrystal)....but the main one is and always will be Ditto! Even now if someone calls me that I'll respond.

So, since Tiffany and Tabitha have recently started "the journal jar" and the many challenges of scrapbooking pages and blogging, I decided to make my own blog page to let my creative juices flow. And to share with all of you the pages, cards and journaling I end up creating. I look forward to sharing my thoughts and pages with everyone and hopefully I will get my scrapbooking bug back! :D
